Terms of Service
Last updated: September 10, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Scrutor at scrutor.co you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including those who access the free diagnostic tool and those who purchase a paid report.
2. Description of Service
Scrutor provides:
Free AI Search Audit
An instant diagnostic that scores your local business's visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google Gemini on a 0–100 scale, along with a 4-dimension scorecard and a copy-paste JSON-LD schema snippet.
Full Implementation Report ($19 one-time)
A personalized 3-page implementation guide including a prioritized action plan, directory claim checklist, and tailored schema code — delivered after a one-time payment of $19 USD.
3. No Guarantees on Audit Scores
Scrutor's AI Search Score and scorecard are diagnostic estimates, not guarantees of actual AI engine rankings or business outcomes. AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) update their models and retrieval logic continuously. Our scores reflect conditions at the time of the audit and may change without notice. Implementing our recommendations does not guarantee specific ranking outcomes.
4. Payments & Refunds
Paid reports are charged as a one-time fee of $19 USD per audit, processed via Stripe. Given the immediate digital delivery of implementation reports, all sales are final. If you experience a technical failure that prevented report delivery, contact team@scrutor.co within 7 days and we will make it right.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false or misleading business information to manipulate audit scores
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute Scrutor's audit output for commercial resale
- Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to generate bulk audits without written permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the scoring algorithm
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights
6. Intellectual Property
All content on Scrutor — including the scoring methodology, report templates, schema generators, and copy — is owned by Scrutor and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may use the generated JSON-LD schema code in your own website freely. You may not resell or white-label our audit reports without written agreement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scrutor and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $19 if no purchase was made).
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that results will be accurate or complete.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Scrutor operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of that jurisdiction.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance.
